FOUR WAY REVIEW

Oualline is a contemporary mixed media painter based in Houston. His subject matter is driven by but not limited to the technique of mark making, the use of symbols, and the use of language. His intention is to visually articulate personal insights and questions, as well as challenge technique. Oualline has studied at the Art Student’s League Houston, The University of Houston, and The Glassell School of Art. In Spring 2016 he was awarded a scholarship to the Glassell School of Art. In Summer 2016 he was selected as a Runner-Up in the Art Registry World Grant International Competition. In Fall 2016 Oualline was awarded 1st place in the VAA 34th Juried Membership Exhibition.
